The Power of Nurture – A 2025 Follow-Up Plan That Keeps You Top of Mind

One of the biggest mistakes real estate agents make is treating follow-up as a one-time event instead of an ongoing strategy.

Sending a single text, email, or voicemail is not nurturing—it’s barely even follow-up. Real estate is a long game, and the agents who win are the ones who stay top of mind consistently.

Buyers and sellers don’t always make a move right away, but when they do, they call the agent they remember and trust.

So, how do you make sure that’s you?

By having a clear, structured nurture plan that blends personal touchpoints, valuable content, and automated follow-up.

Why a Nurture Plan is Non-Negotiable

Your database is your business. If you’re not consistently engaging with past clients, seller leads, and long-term buyer prospects, you’re losing opportunities to agents who are.

A great nurture plan does three things:

✅ Keeps you relevant. Clients forget names quickly—stay in front of them.
✅ Provides value, not spam. Every touchpoint should educate, inform, or help.
✅ Balances automation with human connection. Tech helps, but real relationships win.

To help structure your follow-up efforts, I’m sharing a 2025 Sample Nurture Plan that ensures you stay top of mind for past clients, seller leads, and buyer leads who aren’t ready yet but will be one day.

Your 2025 Follow-Up Plan: Stay Consistent, Stay Top of Mind

This sample plan is designed to provide value through a mix of market updates, personalized outreach, and social media touchpoints.

📌 For past clients and seller leads, this plan includes Fello, a home valuation tool that keeps homeowners updated on their property's worth.

📌 For buyer leads who currently own a home in another state, you may want to adjust by replacing Fello updates with new listing alerts in the area they are considering moving to. Instead of home value reports, they will receive personalized listing updates, market insights, and community information to help them prepare for their relocation.

Make This Your Own

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. The key is consistency.

I recommend that you have at least four touchpoints per month to stay top of mind. These can be a mix of emails, calls, social media content, and automated updates.

📌 For past clients & seller leads, keep the Fello home value reports as a touchpoint.
📌 For buyer leads who own a home elsewhere, replace Fello with listing alerts, market trends, and community updates to keep them engaged.

🚨 If you don’t have a CRM, I highly recommend getting one. A CRM makes follow-up effortless, keeping track of every interaction, setting reminders, and ensuring no lead slips through the cracks. A nurture plan like this is only effective if you can stay organized—and a CRM helps you do exactly that.

The best follow-up system? The one you actually implement.

Final Thoughts: Relationships Win in Real Estate

🔥 People do business with the agents they remember.
🔥 They remember the ones who show up consistently.
🔥 They trust the ones who provide value, not just sales pitches.

Make 2025 the year of stronger relationships and more closings.
